The paper explores the motif of friendship and humanity in the novel "Three Comrades" by E.M. Remarque, focusing on the philosophical and literary interpretations of these themes in European 20th-century literature and in the post-World War II literary tradition. The socio-historical context of the novel and Remarque's humanistic message are also analyzed.
