Ahmad Al-Farg'oniy (797-865) was an astronomer, mathematician, and geographer. He was born in Quva, Farg'ona Valley, and known as Alfarganus in Europe. He conducted research at "Bayt ul hikmat" and contributed to astronomical instruments
